The connections between people basically give every life its true value. As a courageous team builder at work, in politics as well as in sport, I see an immense lack of this in our world.

But just as many nations lack the will to cooperate, I have lost a bit of self-love and trust in others. So I thought perhaps it would be a good idea to knit a joint project out of this.

As a 36-year-old bundle of energy, for which the joy of life cannot be way too adventurous, I, therefore, set off on foot on a journey to the friends of this world. Across Europe and Asia to the Olympics 2020, the meeting of sports and team spirit.

And this also becomes a formative added value for the world community, there are two symbolic goals. Read more on the following pages...

The route, which is made up of many experience reports on the well-known "Silk Road", offers a mix of different climatic, cultural and natural zones.

The memorial stones show intermediate goals and should make spaces for inspiration. The chosen locations have historical as well as culinary very special appeals, in order to think about the own points of view and the world once again.

On 14 March 2019, to celebrate Albert Einstein's 140th birthday, I started the journey. Like no one else he stood for a change of perspective, skill, and perseverance; qualities that are indispensable on such a journey.
